We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Science Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a variety of computer science, engineering, and career courses. The ideal candidate should have a passion for teaching and a commitment to helping students reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement lessons that are aligned with the curriculum.
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for students.
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with special needs.
- Integrate technology into the classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure student success.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, or Computer Science (Master's Preferred)
- Arkansas 528 Computer Science License or equivalent
- Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills
- Experience working with high school students
- Proficiency in teaching math, including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage students
- Familiarity with curriculum development and instructional design
- Experience in tutoring and mentoring students in a classroom setting
