Haas Hall Academy, a nationally recognized college preparatory school, is seeking passionate and highly qualified educators to join our faculty for the following courses:
- AP Computer Science A
- AP Physics C
- AP Chemistry
- General Science Courses
- Algebra II
- Geometry
- Trigonometry
- Programming I and II
Ideal candidates will have a strong academic background in their subject area, experience in teaching at the AP level (where applicable), and a dedication to fostering a challenging and engaging learning environment for scholars.
- Develop and implement a rigorous curriculum aligned with College Board standards for AP courses and best practices for general courses.
- Create an interactive and supportive classroom atmosphere that promotes critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Prepare students for AP exams by providing comprehensive instruction, practice assessments, and test-taking strategies.
- Assess and track student progress through regular evaluations, feedback, and support.
- Foster a passion for learning and intellectual curiosity in students.
- Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and staff to support academic achievement.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Previous experience teaching AP-level courses preferred.
- Strong knowledge of College Board AP curriculum and testing standards (where applicable).
- Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to academic excellence and student success.
- Teaching certification is preferred but not required.
