Summary/Objective:
The Processing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating processing operations related to donated and purchased product, working with staff/volunteers assigned to processing areas to accomplish daily tasks
Essential Functions:
- Work with volunteers and assigned staff and maintain a positive environment.
- Receive all drop off donations with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Communicate with general manager and processing manager about all unique or one-of-a-kind donated items prior to pricing.
- Follow all plans and procedures relative to large item processing and truck unloading destinations.
- Keep purchased product organized to ensure items are easy to locate quickly for transfers.
- Work with end of day trucks and complete closing procedures for Processing and Receiving areas.
- Any and all tasks assigned by management in processing and receiving areas.
Competencies:
- Forklift trained.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work 8am-4pm Mon-Fri.
Work Environment:
The work environment is structured around positivity and efficiency. This role Is important for keeping items moving through so that the store team can focus on sales and merchandising.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate performs the following activities: standing; walking; bending, squatting, use hands, reach with hands/arms, listen and communicate.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time hourly position. The typical workweek is Monday - Friday. The ReStore locations are closed on Sunday.
Education, Experience and Attributes:
- Desire to work towards Habitat’s mission.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one year forklift experience.
Other Duties:
Complete any additional tasks as assigned by management.
