Position: Administrative Assistant
Location: Habitat for Humanity of the San Juans, Montrose, CO
Reports To: Executive Director
Pay: $17-$18 per hour
Hours: 20-25 hours per week.
*Position is open until 4/15/2025
GENERAL SUMMARY: This position will work from our location in Montrose, CO with some flexibility. The Administrative Assistant is responsible to perform support activities both clerical and technical in nature as required to assist the SFOO Program Coordinator and other site personnel on various affiliate projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with filing, organizing, and managing digital and physical documents
- Perform light clerical duties, including scanning, data entry, and document processing
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail; prepare and track bank deposits
- Support scheduling for meetings, appointments, and general coordination
- Maintain office organization and assist with administrative systems
- Provide support for affiliate and SFOO team tasks
- Communicate effectively via phone and email
- Other administrative duties as assigned by the Executive Director
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong computer skills and comfort with technology
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Drive)
- Ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail
- Professional communication and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check
- Prior administrative experience preferred
- Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
