What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Business Partner position at Hafele America Co.?
Provides support to employees and addresses questions and concerns regarding workplace policies and practices to resolve issues and address legal matters. Provides guidance and direction as needed to ensure positive employee relations for all locations. (including remote personnel).
Provides coaching and support to managers on a regular and proactive basis in response to existing needs and to potential growth needs. This includes identifying and offering appropriate training as necessary—either internal (Häfele Corporate Training) or external solutions.
Reports out on employee concerns and issues effecting morale/engagement. Participates in strategies to develop and foster high levels of employee morale and engagement. Works with managers to create action plans for annual employee engagement summary responses.
Conducts workplace investigations in response to allegations of harassment, discrimination, hostile work environment, etc. Offers effective resolution options upon completion.
Handles separation process including organization communications regarding departing employees. Conducts exit interviews and provides summary to managers as needed.
Creates and implements effective retention strategies in order to reduce staff turnover.
Attends functional meetings with customer group management, as appropriate. Partners with customer group management to provide effective HR solutions for their needs.
Participates in Company annual Open Enrollment process. Organizes and runs benefit informational sessions for assigned customer groups. Supports enrollment activities for those who need extra help.
Calculates and administers the Sales Bonus compensation (ABC) plan.
Conducts “Stay interviews” of all new employees within first 2 weeks of employment.
Creates and provides HR related reports for managers on a regular basis and upon request.
Focuses on continuous improvement activities for all areas under his/her assigned areas of responsibility, including process documentation (due quarterly)
