Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Accounting & HR Manager to oversee the company's financial operations and human resources functions. This role involves managing bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, employee benefits, tax compliance, licensing, and insurance. The ideal candidate will provide valuable financial insights and support to our leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage general ledger, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Oversee payroll processing and benefits administration, including 401(k) management.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee business licensing and insurance.
- Collaborate with external accountants during tax preparations and audits.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance, ideally in a small to mid-size business.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, payroll, benefits, and tax compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, RFMS, or similar).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
