Hal Leonard is seeking a motivated and experienced Coordinator with a love of music and digital business to join our team. You should be prepared to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and fun team environment, supporting the strategic initiatives of ArrangeMe.com and Hal Leonard.
Reports To: ArrangeMe Program Manager
Summary: This is a full-time, exempt position that will provide administrative and content support for the ongoing operational tasks of the ArrangeMe program. This position will work closely with the Program Manager to ensure that all tasks and projects are completed and facilitated efficiently and on schedule, working cross-functionally with Design, Web Development, and Product Management, in addition to other Hal Leonard Digital and Muse Group team members. This role will also contribute to the development of the ArrangeMe brand and community.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Daily/weekly production assistance, including but not limited to:
a. ArrangeMe content curation and creation
b. ArrangeMe community management via Facebook group and c/s
c. Blog creation to support ArrangeMe community
d. Song and format research
e. Newsletter production
f. Social media posts
g. Provide Customer Service / Member relations support
h. Website UX testing as updates and new features are released
2. Collaborate with the Program Manager to execute and manage ongoing tasks
3. Contribute to the creative ideation, planning, and execution process
Qualities that make you a great fit:
● Bachelor’s degree in music, music business, or adjacent field of study from accredited university with experience in composing/arranging and related work experience and/or training
● Passion for music and creative people
● Experience with at least two of the following:
a. Email newsletter curation
b. Organic social media posts
c. Blog content creation
d. Online community management
● Ability to learn quickly, adapt, be flexible, and maintain a positive attitude in a high-paced work environment
● Capable of developing strong working relationships quickly and consistently, bringing a team-first attitude
● Creative problem solving skills
● Ability to connect details and understand how they relate to and affect the big picture
● Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Canva, Adobe
Photoshop/Creative Suite
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
