- Assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Providing emotional support and reassurance to patients and families
- Maintaining accurate records and reports
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Wisconsin
- 1 year of experience in long-term care or post-acute care settings, preferably with knowledge of geriatric care principles
- Demonstrated ability to apply basic nursing principles and practices
- Positive attitude and interest in working with seniors
- BLS certification and CPR training
