Overview
The beverage cart attendant is responsible for delivering professional beverage services to golfing members and guests.
Responsibilities
Deliver beverages to golfing members and guests
Maintain a clean cart and beverage area
Dissemble cart and make sure all alcoholic beverages are removed after each shift
Stock and maintain inventory cart for each shift
Properly track member charges
Practice safety and courtesy on and off the golf course
Attend to the Ladies’ Locker Room on select day, including setup, restocking, and food & beverage service
Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements :
Must be 21 years of age or older
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience is preferred
Prior experience as a server / bartender is preferred
Basic knowledge of beer, wine and spirits and of general drink recipes strongly preferred
Impeccable grooming and professional appearance and demeanor
Excellent customer service and strong communications skills
Outgoing and friendly personality with lots of self-confidence
Sense of urgency, ability to work with focus independently and strong work ethic
Ability to use computers and related technology efficiently
Time management and organization skills : ability to multitask in fast paced environment
Judgment and problem-solving skills
Attentive to detail
Predictable and reliable attendance is required
Ability to stand, walk, stoop during entire shift
Continuously reach, bend, lift, carry and stoop
Frequently wash hands
Regular and predictable attendance is required – must be reliable
Ability to move or lift as much as much as twenty pounds
Ability to communicate well both verbally and in written form
May operate in extreme weather conditions walking and standing
Required to work both in and outside in high heat summer temperatures
Working in around lots of people where noise levels can be excessive
Flexible and changing working hours – must be available per business needs
Schedule will vary based on weather and the needs of the business, particularly for special events, promotions, etc.
