Job Title: Quivira Room Bartender - Men's Locker Room
Location: Indian Hills Country Club - Mission Hills, KS
Reports To: Locker Room Manager
Job Summary:
The Quivira Room is located in the Mens Locker Room facility at Indian Hills Country Club. Affectionately called the Q-Room, the Q-Room Bartender is responsible for maintaining high service standards for all male members and guest. Drastic pace changes mean that this individual will need to be able to adapt and pivot on a quickly while staying ready and prepared. This includes preparing and serving drinks, high level food service, maintaining the cleanliness and ambiance of the room, and ensuring a high level of member satisfaction. This job is more just bartending, and can be lucrative for the right individual, it is also demanding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bartending: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Food Service: Manage and maintain serving buffet while also taking orders from our a la carte menu.
- Customer Service: Greet members and guests warmly and ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Cleanliness: Maintain the cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage bar inventory, including restocking supplies and notifying management of any shortages.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations as well as club policies and procedures.
- Ambiance: Maintain the atmosphere of the bar to ensure it is welcoming and comfortable for members and guests.
- Events: Assist with setting up and serving at special events and functions held in the Q-Room and Locker Room Facilities.
- Locker Room Assistance: Assist Locker Room Attendant with routine operations and cleaning duties.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous bartending experience is required, especially in a club or hospitality setting.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of various drink recipes and preparation methods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items, such as cases of beverages or boxes of supplies.
- Manual dexterity to handle bar equipment and utensils.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- May be required to work outdoors during events.
Salary and Benefits:
- $18/hr - $24/hr Based on experience
