Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Houseman to join our team. As a Houseman, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities. This is a vital role in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to electrical repairs, plumbing repairs, and general building maintenance
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify any issues or potential hazards
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, including motors, pumps, and HVAC units
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks
- Store supplies in appropriate locations throughout hotel
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairing equipment
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a logical approach
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
