Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and ensure compliance with health standards in beverage preparation.
- Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service best practices.
- Stay updated on beverage trends, including brewing methods and cocktail recipes, to enhance the menu offerings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and cash handling procedures.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations related to beverage service.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
