Bartender/Server
JOB DESCRIPTION
Reports to: Head Bartender, Bar Manager, Management Staff, Board of Directors
Compensation: Hourly team member
Additional Compensation: Inclusion in tip pool for charged sales and fringe benefits as outlined in Indian Hills Employee Handbook.
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills required.
- Minimum age of 20 years old and one day.
- Previous experience as a bartender or server preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of beer, wine, liquor brands, mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks preferred, but not required.
- Cash handling experience preferred, but not required.
- Computer Literacy.
- Ability to stay organized and calm during busy moments.
- Ability to multitask.
- Serve-Safe certification required.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent service to Members and Guests
- Preparing alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for members and non-members.
- Take food and/or beverage orders. Serve drinks, food, and/or snacks.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of workspace.
- Check members and non-members identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
- Assist in the proper opening and/or closing of the bar area as required.
- Report issues or concerns to Head Bartender(s) and/or Bar Manager in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the Head Bartender, Bar Manager, and Management Staff for other duties as assigned.
