Job Description
Have a passion for hospitality? We’re looking for a friendly individual who genuinely enjoys being around people and who can manage multiple tasks at once. The ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience and will understand the importance of responding quickly to guests’ needs and complaints. You’ll be corresponding with guests through email, over the phone and in person. Previous hotel experience not required but is a plus; on the job training will be provided. Weekend availability is required. You must have reliable transportation.
Responsibilities Include (not limited to):
- Answer the phone at the front desk to respond to current and prospective guests’ needs
- Book reservations for individuals, families and groups as required
- Greet walk-in guests and guests with reservations when they arrive at the front desk
- Refer guests to local amenities and venues
- Communicate guests’ requests and complaints to the appropriate department
Experience/Skills Include (not limited to):
- High school diploma/GED required
- Bilingual a plus
- 1 years’ customer service experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Friendly phone and in-person manner a must
- Willingness to work days, weekends and holidays
- Familiarity with the hospitality industry a plus
- Ability to pass background check
- Willingness to maintain confidentiality
