Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing client accounts, providing exceptional customer support, and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients. You will play a key role in customer retention, helping to resolve billing inquiries, update policies, and ensure that all documentation is accurate and up to date. You will also be a trusted insurance advisor, guiding clients through their coverage needs and ensuring they have the right protection in place. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a commitment to client satisfaction, and the ability to handle various administrative tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain client accounts, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
- Retain and grow existing customer relationships through effective communication and proactive service.
- Assist clients with billing inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Provide outstanding customer support via phone, email, and text messages in a professional and efficient manner.
- Conduct outbound calling to follow up with clients and address any inquiries or concerns.
- Support clients by providing information about products and services, resolving issues promptly.
- Advise clients on available insurance products and recommend coverage solutions based on their needs.
- Update and maintain client policy details to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure client satisfaction and meet agency goals.
- Cross-sell and up-sell insurance products as appropriate, contributing to the growth of the agency.
- Ensure all policy documentation is correct, up-to-date, and compliant with company standards.
Qualifications
- Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
- Life and Health License preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in customer service or insurance is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to handle sensitive information.
- Positive attitude, team player, and a desire to help others.
