- Case Management : Oversee and manage a caseload from inception to resolution, ensuring timely progress and compliance with deadlines.
- Client Communication : Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- File Management : Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed, stored, and easily accessible.
- Legal Research : Conduct research on case law, statutes, and legal precedents relevant to ongoing cases.
- Scheduling : Coordinate and schedule appointments, court dates, meetings, and deadlines for attorneys and clients.
- Discovery Process : Assist in gathering evidence, organizing discovery materials, and managing the exchange of documents between parties.
- Client Intake : Conduct initial client interviews, gather pertinent information, and open new case files.
- Liaison Role : Serve as a liaison between attorneys, clients, experts, and other parties involved in the case.
- Case Strategy Support : Work closely with attorneys to develop case strategies, including trial preparation and settlement discussions.
- Compliance and Reporting : Ensure all work complies with applicable laws and ethical standards, and keep clients informed of case status.
