The Quality Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of Quality Engineers to ensure assigned projects are completed as scheduled.

Reports to: Manager of Quality
Key Responsibilities:

- Lead quality engineers to develop inspection method sheets, first article reports, PPAP, RCCAs, KPC management, contract review, raw material review/releases, supplier purchase order reviews, operation reviews and internal auditing.
- Has responsibility for the Quality Department in the absence of the Quality Manager.
- Assist the Quality Manager in the daily functioning of the Quality Department.
- Recommend inspection and test equipment as required. Perform training as required.
- Verify receiving that In-Process and Final Inspection functions are performed in a timely manner.
- Attend the Daily Production Meetings to ensure daily shipping schedules are adhered to.
- Ensure process and procedures defined in the Quality Management System (QMS) are understood, followed, and updated as necessary to maintain Quality System Approvals
- Assist in Continuous Improvement Programs. Analyze and interpret trends and execute improvements on key metrics.
- Assist Engineering in the development of product and process specifications.
- Ensure all products meet specification requirements and only compliant products move onto the next processing stage.
- Assist in the Corrective Action process as needed. Assists other departments in the completion of their Corrective Actions. Verifies corrective actions for effectiveness and timeliness of completion. Conducts root-cause analysis, corrective / preventive actions and implement continuous improvement.
- Assist in PPAP, SPS or other customer specific product approval processes as required. Performs First Article Inspections and creates reports.
- Utilize team approach & employee involvement effectively.
- Perform other related duties or responsibilities as requested or required.
- Participate in training as required.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift, push, or pull at least 35 lbs.
- Work is usually performed in a combination of office and plant setting.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, bend, and move about our facility.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree OR equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English at a functional level.
- Must be a “US Person” as defined by US Government and able to work without restriction with ITAR related data.
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years’ experience in an AS9100 and / or NADCAP environment is preferred.
- Working knowledge of inspection techniques and quality engineering practices.
