Position Overview:
The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing the IT infrastructure, managing IT vendors, and ensuring the smooth operation of all technology systems at HAPPI Health. The role requires strong technical skills, experience with system administration, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage multiple IT projects simultaneously. This individual will serve as the system administrator, ensuring the proper functionality of all hardware, software, systems and network systems in use by the clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Management:
- Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.
- Partner with the COO to negotiate contracts and service agreements, ensuring the best value and service for the healthcare center.
- System Administration:
- Serve as the System Administrator for all systems used by the clinic, including managing servers, databases, and applications.
- Oversee and maintain the clinic's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and other networking systems.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and telecommunications equipment.
- Technical Support and Customer Service:
- Provide technical support to staff members and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
- Offer proactive and reactive troubleshooting and technical assistance, ensuring high levels of customer service.
- Manage user access and permissions for clinic systems, ensuring proper security protocols are followed.
- Inventory Management:
- Track and manage IT equipment inventory, including computers, monitors, televisions, and other hardware.
- Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning of IT equipment.
- Develop and maintain an inventory database, ensuring accurate records of all IT assets.
- IT Equipment Setup and Relocation:
- Move and install IT equipment, including computers, monitors, televisions, and related devices, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
- Assist with any office or facility relocations or changes by managing the relocation of IT equipment and systems.
- Microsoft Suite Management:
- Oversee and manage the deployment and maintenance of Microsoft Office Suite and other productivity tools.
- Provide support and training for staff on the effective use of Microsoft Suite and other software tools.
- Networking & Infrastructure:
- Manage network security, data backup, and disaster recovery systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, ensuring uptime and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and practices for network infrastructure.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain clear documentation for all IT processes, policies, and procedures.
- Report to leadership on IT operations, performance metrics, and project statuses.
- Training & Development:
- Train and mentor other staff on IT best practices, systems usage, and troubleshooting.
- Stay current on technology trends and best practices, providing recommendations for improvements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Manager or in a similar role within a healthcare or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of networking principles, network security, and telecommunications systems.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and related enterprise tools.
- Ability to manage and administer various IT systems and software applications.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience providing customer service and technical support.
- Experience in managing and maintaining IT hardware and equipment (computers, monitors, televisions, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with staff at all levels.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare-specific IT needs is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Network , Microsoft Certified Professional).
- Experience with healthcare IT systems and HIPAA compliance.
- Familiarity with cloud computing and related services.
- Experienced supporting Medical Center - Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential and professional manner.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to move and set up IT equipment and technology systems (may involve lifting or carrying devices).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changes as necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
