*We would prefer you have experience but we are open to someone with little or no experience.
*We need a opener right away, if you can commit to the 6-11am shift that would be great!
Your starting wage will have a lot to do with what was written above. If you can check off most of what we are looking for expect to receive a higher starting wage.
Fur and poop are part of the job but there is also the enjoyment of spending part of your day with dogs.
You must have leadership qualities and be physically capable to work with a pack of 15 dogs.
You need to have pleasant communication skills with humans, alpha skills with the dog pack and work well in a team.
Be ready to stand, walk around and be physically active the majority of your shift.
- Kennel experience
- Animal handling and restraint skills
- Pet care knowledge
- Dog training expertise
- Veterinary experience or background
- Customer service skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks
Note: Premium skills such as dog handling, pet grooming, and veterinary assistant experience are advantageous but not mandatory for this role.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
