Key Responsibilities:
- Primary Focus Areas:
- Facility & Grounds Maintenance
- Machinery & Equipment Operation & Maintenance
- Artificial Insemination & Selection Assistance
- Bird Condition Monitoring
- Environmental & Health Testing
- Regular Recordkeeping of farm operations.
- Adherence to all biosecurity and animal welfare policies.
- Assist the Farm Manager with troubleshooting and continuous operational improvements.
- Availability to work occasional weekends and holidays as needed to meet full-time demands.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/Animal Science or 2 years of experience preferred.
- Proficiency with basic calculations (e.g., rates, ratios, percentages) for environmental testing.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- High physical stamina and ability to work consistently through demanding tasks.
Job Conditions
- Greater exposure to prolonged standing, lifting (up to 60 lbs), and environmental factors.
- Higher interaction with farm equipment, live animals, and safety procedures.
