What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clerical Specialist position at HARDIN COUNTY JOB AND FAMILY SERVICES?
Run front window; process repayments and returned cards; process pay-in receipts for agency; complete income verifications; ensure that all forms and applications are up to date and available for clients; Prepare and print labels for outgoing mail, mail employment verification packet to employees and employers.
Scan, process, fax and assign documents; open and distribute mail; process incoming mail and scan to assigned caseworker; make courthouse mail run; answer incoming phone calls on a multi-line switchboard; keep daily log of clients coming into the agency; make copies; prepare outgoing mail for the agency and occasionally drop off at the post office, oversee recycling/shredding, pickup, maintain office supplies for 1st floor, inform fiscal of any supply needs; assist incoming clients; operate and maintain postage machine; perform general clerical duties and provide assistance to agency personnel.
Completion of secondary education or equivalent (high school diploma or GED); one (1) or more years of related experience and/or training; or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.10 - $18.85 per hour
