Our organization is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Payroll Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all invoices from vendors are paid accurately and in a timely manner. Some banking is involved with the position. They will also be responsible to make sure employees are paid accurately and on time, as well as managing the office's payroll system. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment and have a strong understanding of payroll regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Process invoices.
- Verify banking transactions.
- Contacting Vendors as needed.
- Process payroll for employees.
- Ensure accuracy of employee records.
- Maintain employee records and payroll files.
- Process and submit payroll taxes to the appropriate agencies.
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any errors.
- Process employee benefits and deductions.
- Generate reports related to payroll activities.
- Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and answering phones.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
