We are currently looking for a qualified Quality Inspector to approve/disapprove parts, assemblies and finished products according to drawings. Ensures quality finished product is shipped to the customer by ensuring quality checks are complete, accurate and signed-off. Final release of every Helix build. Ensure only complete routers are turned into the quality assurance team.
- Performs a wide variety of mechanical inspections on parts and assemblies.
- Follows general inspection guidelines to conduct visual, dimensional, mechanical, electrical test and functional inspections on a variety of components and assemblies.
- Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspection of parts and assemblies
Requirements
- 1 year experience in manufacturing environments including welding, metal manufacturing or equivalent required
- Experience in quality systems (inspections, audits, use of measurement tools) required
- Experience with Class II Medical device inspections a plus
- Intermediate level computer skills required
- Ability to effectively train/coach others
- Time management
- Priority setting
- Detail oriented
- Blue print understanding
- 6 months in Helix preferred
- Intermediate level computer skills required
