The Client
Harmonic are thrilled to be working with an award-winning, fully integrated advertising agency with a unique expertise across the arts & entertainment, leisure, travel, retail, and tourism sectors. With a focus on creativity, innovation, and consumer experiences, they have a proven record of delivering cross-platform campaigns that get results for new brands and iconic institutions alike. Their clients in the performing arts, hospitality and sports realm are likely to be amongst some of your favorites for theatergoers. They're looking for a passionate, highly analytical, and results-driven Paid Social Strategist to join their growing performance marketing team in our New York City office.
The Role
As the Paid Social/Search Strategist, you’ll be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing paid social media campaigns to drive brand awareness, engagement, and sales. The ideal candidate has a growth mindset, deep paid social experience, and an interest in live entertainment, theatre, and/or the performing arts. Reporting to the Associate Director, this full-time role is based in New York City.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, launch, oversee, and optimize paid search and paid social media campaigns across platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, Google Ads, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and others.
- Collaborate with the creative team to create ad concepts and messaging strategies that align with target audience insights and campaign goals.
- Conduct structured A/B testing to improve audience targeting, ad creatives, bidding strategies, and overall campaign performance.
- Continuously monitor campaign performance and key metrics, analyzing data to uncover trends, insights, and areas for optimization.
- Manage and adjust budgets to maximize performance and ROAS, making real-time decisions based on performance data and evolving goals.
- Utilize audience targeting tools and techniques (e.g., lookalike modeling, keyword targeting) to reach the right demographics and refine strategies based on performance insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including client services, creative, content, and business intelligence, to ensure seamless execution of both paid search and paid social campaigns.
- Present detailed performance reports in client meetings, offering clear insights and strategic recommendations for optimization across both paid search and paid social channels.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies in both the paid search and paid social landscapes.
Required Experience
- Experience managing Paid Social campaigns across Meta and TikTok a must; Pinterest, Snapchat, X, LinkedIn, etc. are a plus. Deep understanding of Meta advertising required.
- Strong understanding of key performance metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
- Experience managing budgets from five to seven-figure budgets per month.
- Knowledgeable about channel best practices, from campaign setup to targeting and creative.
- Exceptional data analytics skills; ability to draw conclusions from data and form actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated self-starter with the ability to work autonomously, handle multiple projects, prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment.

Salary ranges based on experience but we expect the role to fall between $70,000-$85,000
