Injection Mold Process Technician

Harmony Systems is a plastic injection molding facility, located in Piqua, Ohio. We are hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift! Harmony Systems is a strong and growing company looking for talent! We are looking for someone who wants to “raise the bar” and develop their experience into higher levels of expertise. This position will use technical knowledge of operations, processes, and equipment to aid in the completion of projects aimed at reducing costs, improving quality, improving reliability, expanding production capacity, developing new technologies, and maintaining compliance.

Duties:

• Wears all required personal protective equipment and follows all equipment and plant safety guidelines.
• Maintains auxiliary equipment including mold temperature controllers, material dryers, compressors, conveyors and material loaders.
• Performs highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
• Diagnoses problems, replaces or repair parts, tests and adjusts.
• Performs simple machinist skills.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Detects faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
• Hands-on operation and maintenance of automated molding equipment.
• Monitoring and performing setting adjustments.
• Establishes and fosters all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO, and safety requirements.
• Following established procedures in order to maintain a clean organized environment.
• Monitors and performs setting adjustments.
• Performs mold sets/changes.
• Starts up and shuts down machines
• Troubleshoots issues such as splay, contamination, NFO’s, material issues, etc.
• Completion of preventative maintenance.
• Performs quality control checks.
• Participates and implements safety requirements for the plant floor and maintenance functions, ensures compliance with all mandated guidelines relative to safety of machinery and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Plastic Injection Molding Experience
• Certification, Technical Degree, or Related experience.
• Hands-on injection molding experience
• Positive attitude, high energy, flexibility, and personal initiative.
