As an early-stage company, they’re scaling fast and are looking for a Founding Engineer to join their dynamic, lean team of 4.

What the Role Involves

• Building & Shipping Features: You’ll develop and launch new features using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Growth Engineering: Optimize user acquisition funnels, conduct A/B testing, and experiment to drive user engagement and growth.
• User-Centric Development: You’ll gather insights directly from users, iterate on the product, and improve user experience continuously.
• Support Marketing & Growth: Apply your engineering expertise to refine Customer Acquisition Costs (CAC), evaluate channel performance, and experiment with new growth strategies.
• Innovate and Prototype: Create new interactions and experiences, including game-like features for virtual beings and interactive experiences.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Entrepreneurial Engineer: You're a builder at heart with a strong track record of creative problem-solving, fast execution, and product development.
• Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in React, Node.js, Firebase, Python, and SQL.
• Growth-Oriented: A data-driven mindset with a passion for optimizing user acquisition, conducting experiments, and iterating on real user feedback.
• Startup Experience: Ideally, you have experience at a fast-growing startup, have been a founder or have early-stage experience, and you thrive in a high-impact, cross-functional role.
• Ambitious & Resourceful: You’re self-driven, eager to take ownership, and have a relentless desire to improve both personally and professionally.

Preferred Background

• Computer Science degree or equivalent experience, preferably from a top-tier program.
• Experience building consumer products, particularly in social, gaming, or AI industries.
• Exposure to growth hacking, A/B testing, and optimizing user engagement.
