We are looking for a Principal Backend Engineer to architect and own our backend systems. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in an early-stage environment and has experience building high-scale, complex systems from the ground up. This position is fully on-site (5 days a week)—we believe in deep, in-person collaboration and are passionate about building world-class technology together.
What You’ll Bring:
✅ Expert-level backend software engineering skills
✅ Proven experience designing and scaling large systems
✅ Deep expertise in TypeScript & AWS
✅ Experience with big data and high-performance architectures
✅ Background in search/news products & web scraping
✅ Experience with Applied AI in production environments
✅ Proven experience at a MAANG/FAANG company or a high-growth unicorn startup
