About the Role
We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Head of Technology Operations to lead and evolve the organization’s IT services and support functions. Reporting to the Head of Data and Infrastructure, this role is ideal for a technology leader who thrives in high-impact environments and is passionate about operational excellence, cross-functional partnership, and continuous improvement.
You'll lead a multi-disciplinary team spanning the Help Desk, Systems Administration, Network Engineering, and Device Management—building a proactive, solutions-oriented tech operations function that enables scale and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead a cohesive Technology Operations team with clear KPIs and success metrics.
- Define a long-term strategic vision and implement near-term action plans to modernize and scale IT services.
- Oversee daily operations across help desk, device management, systems administration, and network engineering.
- Streamline support processes and elevate service levels for both hardware and software across the org.
- Partner with stakeholders across departments to anticipate and meet evolving technology needs.
- Manage vendor relationships for infrastructure, systems, and operational tools.
- Collaborate closely with Data, InfoSec, and Project Management leaders to align on shared tech goals.
What We’re Looking For
- 8–10 years of experience in IT leadership roles, with direct oversight of multi-functional tech teams.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, including device management, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and systems/network administration.
- Proven success in transforming reactive IT support into strategic, proactive operations.
- Excellent communication skills—able to translate technical strategy into business impact and present to senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
