What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing + Communications Coordinator - Part-Time position at Harris?
The purpose of your role as a Marketing Communications Coordinator
As a Marketing Communications Coordinator, you will support the completion of prequalifications and other associated forms, playing a key role in helping Harris obtain new work. For this role, we are seeking a highly organized, detail orientated individual, that thrives on meeting tight deadlines. This role will provide sales support, including conducting research on our industry, markets and customers to understand the needs of the business and target audiences. Strong research and communication skills are a must.
**This is a part-time (25 hours per week), temporary position. Potential for temp-to-hire.
Prequalification & Associated Forms Support:
- Complete and submit prequalifications, corporate social responsibility forms, safety forms, sustainability forms, ESG forms, business status certification forms, employer survey forms
- Update and help maintain all necessary company/entity documents to prepare for prequalification submission
- Assist or act as back up in maintaining financials for prequalification/proposal/questionnaire purposes inc
- Assist with Harris prequalification portals and platforms.
Sales Support:
- Assist with the collection and input of marketing project information.
- Assist and maintain content database development
- Respond to requests for resumes and project sheets from internal customers.
- Partner with employees to get updated information included in project sheets and resumes.
- Conduct high-quality research on our industry, markets and customers to understand the needs of the business and target audiences through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject matter experts and in-person meetings. ·
- Support CRM data maintenance.
Marketing Communications Support:
- Assist with managing digital asset management tool
- Other team support, as assigned
What we're looking for in you
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related.
- 2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or prequalification coordination
- 2 years of administrative support experience
- Highly organized, deadline-driven, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to review, compile, and format a high volume of complex information
- Strong research skills
- Customer Relationship Management experience (Salesforce) preferred
- InDesign experience preferred
- Construction industry knowledge/experience preferred

Pay Range: $23.69 - $35.53 per hour
The actual salary offer will vary by candidate based on a wide range of factors such as specific skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
