Harvest Peteoleum, we are an operating on gas company found it in 1996. We currently operate 200 Oil & Gas wells across Texas, Califormia and Oklahoma. We focus on finding oil and gas properties that are already producing and developing land that potentially has valuable oil & gas deposits. In simple terms, we find new places to drill and improve existing sites
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Petroleum Geologist located in Frisco, TX. The Petroleum Geologist will be responsible for analyzing geological data to identify potential oil and gas reservoirs, designing and monitoring drilling programs, and developing methods for improved recovery. The role involves conducting stratigraphic and sedimentologic evaluations, interpreting geological and geophysical data, and working closely with engineering teams to optimize extraction processes. Daily tasks include fieldwork, data collection and analysis, report preparation, and presenting findings to the management team.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Petroleum, Petroleum Geology, and Geology
- Experience with Drilling and Stratigraphy
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in geological software and data interpretation tools
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Geology, Petroleum Geology, or related field
- Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred
