In this position you will play a crucial role in optimizing our procurement processes through data-driven insights. Your responsibilities will include analyzing purchasing data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, supporting supplier negotiations/category KPIs on cost and performance through data analysis, and ensuring compliance of all purchasing practices and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Data Analysis:
- Utilize data analytics tools (such as Excel, SQL, Procure, PowerBI) to evaluate purchasing trends, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
- Identify patterns, anomalies, and areas for improvement based on data analysis.
Cost Optimization:
- Develop strategies to reduce procurement costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving initiatives.
Supplier Management:
- Provide data analysis for contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Monitor supplier performance, track delivery timelines, and address any issues promptly.
Process Improvement:
- Continuously assess and enhance procurement processes.
- Recommend process changes based on data insights.
Policy Adherence:
- Understand and adhere to company purchasing policies and guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in procurement practices.
