About the Position
We're seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team, focusing on FP&A and financial analysis. In this role, you'll work closely with our Director of FP&A, CFO, and cross-functional partners to identify, analyze, and communicate key FP&A matters impacting operating performance.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Support the production of management reports, including the monthly MD&A report and quarterly report for our Board of Directors and banks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements, optimizing business outcomes.
- Engage in strategic planning processes, driving value creation initiatives and converting strategic plans into actionable financial commitments.
- Provide insightful financial analysis to inform business decisions, leveraging your expertise in financial analysis and modeling.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in FP&A, preferably in a growth-oriented industrial, manufacturing, or distribution company.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Data Analytics; MBA, CPA, or CMA certification is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience working in public and/or private equity-owned businesses is a plus.
