What are the responsibilities and job description for the Claim Technician position at Hastings Mutual?
Hastings Insurance is currently looking for a Claim Technician to join our Claim Operational Oversight team! The Claim Technician will support day-to-day claim processing including first notice of loss, mail flow processing, accurate financial and statistical coding entries, medical payment processing, answering phones, and customer service support.
Position Location & Work Format
- This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position, typically working Monday - Friday from 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm.
- Employees must be able to work at our Hastings, Michigan corporate headquarters, either on a daily basis or in a "hybrid" arrangement of both on-site and remote-based work.
Position Duties & Responsibilities
Distributes incoming faxes to appropriate claim handlers to ensure the handler can promptly facilitate the loss adjustment.
