Salary: $60,000-$80,000 - DOE

Haupt Electrical is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Controller to oversee our company’s financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in QuickBooks, Jobber, Bill, and general financial oversight, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. This role requires a strategic thinker who can provide financial insights to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Maintain and manage financial records using QuickBooks, Bill and Jobber.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and internal policies.
- Project job costing.
- Monitor cash flow, financial transactions, and reconcile accounts.
- Monthly close by the 15th.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial management or a similar role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of financial compliance and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
