Accountant

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy of financial records, compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing insightful financial analysis to support business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct financial audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Write detailed financial reports that summarize the organization's financial status and performance.
• Manage tax filings and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
• Perform technical accounting tasks, including the application of accounting standards and principles.
• Maintain accurate records of debits and credits, ensuring all transactions are properly documented.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts thorough financial analysis.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, demonstrating strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements and standards.
• Experience in financial auditing processes and practices.
• Proficient in financial report writing with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Technical accounting skills, including knowledge of general ledger accounting practices.
• Ability to perform general ledger reconciliation accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration across teams.

Pay: $62,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year
