What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intern position at Hawaii Dental Service?
We are seeking energetic, responsible interns to join our company. In these positions, you will be expected to learn the ins-and-outs of our daily routines and procedures. You will focus on learning how our company runs. We currently have summer internship positions in Marketing and Professional Relations.
Marketing
- Content creation for social media (2 reels a week with captions, 2-3 graphic posts with captions)
- Drafting advertorials
- Graphics template creation
- Draft local blogs (1 blog a week)
- Research and create wellness presentations, flyers, and materials
- Build portfolio by the end of internship
Professional Relations
- Process credentialing applications and verify they are complete.
- Follow up with providers and/or credentialing vendors as necessary.
- Perform web searches, save off results, and log credentialing applications.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Education
High school degree or equivalent; must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program.
Experience
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed and able to work without supervision
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
