Foreman/Assistant Project Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced construction foreman to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in both field and office environments. As a construction foreman, you will play a crucial role in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. In field experience a must!

Responsibilities:

• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities.

• Collaborate with, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure timely and successful project completion.

• Review and interpret construction plans, specifications, and drawings.

• Conduct on-site inspections and quality control checks to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

• Assist in preparing project budgets, estimates, cost analysis reports, and estimating.

• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders to provide project updates and address any issues or concerns.

• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure materials and equipment as needed.

• Assist in resolving conflicts or disputes that may arise during the construction process.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant construction experience (in field).

• Preferred experience in commercial and government construction projects.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and drawings.

• Ability to work effectively in both field and office environments.

• Flexibility to work occasional weekends and nights as required by project schedules.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
