Live-in Resident Hotel Manager (Lake of the Ozarks)

We are a boutique hotel seeking a Live-In Resident Hotel Manager. Couples preferred as the property benefits from having multiple people to maintain the daily operations.
This position will oversee operations of a 26-unit boutique hotel located in the heart of Lake of the Ozarks in the city of Osage Beach, MO.
Position is for a "working manager" and requires a high level of energy and enthusiasm. Applicants must be hard working, honest, and reliable while being heavily focused on customer service and support for our guests. The Resident Hotel Manager will live onsite (2-bedroom apartment with full kitchen provided) to ensure the safety and security of all hotel guests and employees.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Operate Front Desk, Housekeeping, Laundry, Maintenance.

• Maintain excellent communications with owner and management to encourage and promote positive working relationships.

• Directs preventative maintenance programs to ensure that there is a high level of maintenance in the rooms, common areas, service areas and exterior grounds.

• Works with Ownership team to actively oversee and manage hotel room rates to achieve highest yields based on forecasted occupancy and demand.

• Responsible for maintaining supply ordering for all departments in coordination with ownership team.

• Answers guest complaints and resolves problems as to exceed guest expectations.

• Reviews online feedback via TripAdvisor, Expedia, Booking.com, etc. and responds appropriately.

• Front Desk duties include managing multiple telephone lines, selling rooms, taking reservations, and assisting guests.

• Occupy and oversee the hotel lobby during day , as well nights and weekends to ensure guest safety and security. Resident Hotel Manager is on-call after hours and must be reachable by guests.

Qualifications & Skills:
Resident Hotel Manager must live onsite to guarantee the safety and supervision of the hotel.
Excellent customer and personal service.
Experience with hotel property management systems.
Must have the ability to work in partnership with other team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25,000.00 - $34,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Osage Beach, MO 65065: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Hotel management: 1 year (Preferred)
• Hospitality: 1 year (Preferred)
