Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients. This role involves providing exceptional patient service, managing administrative tasks, and supporting the team in daily operations.
Duties
- Greet patients professionally, providing them with necessary information and assistance.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar using Dentrix.
- Verify patient insurance information and assist with insurance claims as needed.
- Maintain organized patient files and ensure all documentation is up to date.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries in a professional manner.
- Assist with the billing processes and ensure accuracy in billing records.
- Collaborate with the staff to facilitate smooth operations within the office.
Skills
- Proficiency in Dentrix is preferred but not necessary
- An understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.
- Ability to perform insurance verification accurately and efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in computer use, including Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
- Previous experience in dental administrative support or a similar role is a plus.
