Be a part of our team! We are seeking a full-time bookkeeper for our growing CPA firm in Tacoma. This position requires a seasoned professional who has the ability to solve problems, juggle deadlines and assist clients directly. The ideal candidate will be working with clients on all aspects of bookkeeping including monthly write-ups, B&O taxes, quarterly payroll reports and any general accounting needs they may have. Our office encourages flex time, so the right candidate may choose their own hours and perform their work partially from home. Salary is DOE and highly competitive for the right candidate.
Job Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will work directly with clients to provide a variety of services including:
· Monthly bookkeeping and management reports
· Monthly and quarterly Department of Revenue reporting
· Assist clients with QuickBooks issues
· QuickBooks consulting and set up for new clients
· Quarterly payroll reports
· Assist our Tax Department with bookkeeping issues related to client tax returns
· Year end 1099 reporting
Requirements:
· High School diploma or GED
· At least four years bookkeeping experience
· Extensive QuickBooks experience
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
· Strong work ethic
· Positive attitude and outlook
