Hays is partnering with a leading Civil and Utilities GC/CM in New York City, who is looking to add a Project Manager to their team.

Your new role
As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing construction projects related to utilities and civil infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and managing project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Overseeing all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
- Managing project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and codes
- Monitoring progress and providing regular updates to senior management
- Managing project risks and resolving issues as they arise
- Ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 5–10 years of experience in civil construction project management
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Experience working on construction projects in New York City is a plus
