Job Description
Hayward Concrete LLC is looking for Concrete Finishers and Wall Formers to join our team. The Finisher or Wall Former will be responsible for completing concrete work tasks such as: pouring concrete, setting rebar, mixing concrete, and handling materials. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Responsibilities
Pour concrete, mix concrete, set rebar, finish slabs, form and pour walls, and perform other concrete finishing tasks
- Handle materials such as concrete mixers, set rebar, mix mortar and other tasks related to concrete finishing
- Perform work under pressure and under stressful conditions
- Work in a team environment to achieve common goals
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
Skills
Ability to read blueprints and understand basic math calculations
- Basic knowledge of common carpentry tools and their uses (hammer, saws, etc.)
- Ability to use tape measure and other measuring instruments to determine length, width etc.
- Good time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions from supervisors etc.
- Teamwork attitude with a positive attitude toward working with others in the workplace
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background check screening
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
