What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Human Resources Generalist position at Hazen and Sawyer?
This is an in-person position in the Raleigh, NC regional headquarters.

The selected candidate will work with local leadership and the HR team to support and expedite core business functions for Hazen. Ideal candidate has a BS in Human Resources or related discipline and 8 - 15 years plus of Human Resources experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in a Professional Services industry. Required qualifications include:
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of HR principles, policies, laws, and procedures, including EEOC guidelines, ADA, and FMLA
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
- Critical and strategic thinking skills
- Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Role and responsibilities entail:
- Work in the functional areas of benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, affirmative action, and employment law compliance
- Be a trusted advisor to leadership teams in a geographically disbursed organization
Manage and resolve complex employee relations concerns, with empathy, objectivity, and a thoroughness that lead to thoughtful recommendations and solutions
