We’re looking for a Games Manager seeking their next exciting challenge to join our HB Leisure management team and be part of the fun while delivering excellent customer service for our visitors. Primary Responsibilities:
- Providing Training and Development: Ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively. This involves providing ongoing training and development opportunities, whether through formal training programs, workshops, or one-on-one coaching sessions.
- Responsible for leading all aspects of 50 staff members to ensure the highest levels of safety and guest enjoyment.
- Responsible for meeting current sales metrics
- Responsible for monitoring store merchandise to maintain optimum inventory level
- Maintain a safe work environment for both team members and guests through effective training, policies and procedures
- Effectively and quickly resolve guest concerns.
- Conduct effective and regular conversations with games staff to ensure individual development and goals are being met
- Ensure compliance of supervisors and team leaders with company policies and procedures
- Conduct training for current and new employees ensuring a well-trained, motivated staff.
- Work closely with Human Resources to interview and hire new employees
- Oversee payroll functions for team members ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Work closely with park management for events and park-related activities
- Maintain a games area presence through frequent contact with team members and guests while assessing needs in each area – staffing, maintenance, cleanliness, signage, and safety
- Ability to work varied shifts to include nights and weekends as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years’ work experience preferred
- 1 years management experience preferred
- Previous experience working in high-volume, guest-focused environment preferred
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sales skills and the ability to ensure customer satisfaction on a daily basis while maintaining operations
- Required to work non-traditional hours; weekends, evenings, holidays.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- Commitment to providing exceptional service to customers and support to team members.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, creative, flexible and adaptable to new situations.
- Experience in amusement games preferred
- One (1) year Sales experience
- Two (2) Customer service experience
