What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist position at HCC Tennis Complex?

The HCC Tennis Center is home to thousands of tennis & pickleball players throughout the Tampa Bay Area. We are home to top touring tennis professionals in the world as well as our collegiate tennis team. Our programming features open court play as well as clinics, lessons, and leagues. We also host several different tournaments, leagues, and special events throughout the year. Our goal here at the tennis center is to always provide a positive experience for our players, members, and anyone who walks through the door.
Responsibilities:
As a Front Desk Associate/Staff Assistant here at the HCC Tennis Center your duties and responsibilities include: Maintaining an upbeat & energetic work atmosphere, greeting and welcoming customers, handling check-ins & payments, answering phone calls and emails, court reservations & class sign ups, general upkeep of the facility, and misc. administrative tasks as assigned.
Skills & Work Experience:
The most important thing you can do is to create a positive experience for each and every customer that walks through the door. With that said, some skills & prior work experience in customer service or tennis is preferred, but not required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 29 per week
