Responsibilities

- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the catering team to plan menus for special events and functions.
- Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and order as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety, and presentation standards.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served.
- Work closely with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs of guests.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food service management principles, including inventory control and cost management.
- Experience in catering services is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise kitchen staff effectively.
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
