We are currently seeking a seasoned **Superintendent / Project Manager** to lead this important project.
Position Overview:
As the Superintendent / Project Manager for the new Cambridge Senior Living facility, you will oversee all phases of this construction project from inception to completion. Your responsibility will be to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the construction of Cambridge Senior Living, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets; track and report on project progress.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Supervise on-site personnel and coordinate subcontractor activities to ensure deadlines are met.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Placing orders for materials and being responsible for equipment and materials on site.
- Maintaining records for site personnel such as daily field reports, field orders and other forms/requirements as needed.
- Attend site production sub-contractor meetings.
- Monitoring and ensuring cleanliness and orderliness.
- Hands on construction as determined per project.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in construction management or project management, preferably in healthcare or assisted living projects.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore).
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, reading blueprints, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
