Job Summary
Headwaters Construction Company is looking for an honest and personable Project Manager to work in the Northern Utah region. The Project Manager is key to the financial success of their projects. The Project Manager will have the responsibility of overseeing the Project Team and all aspects of multiple commercial construction projects at the same time. These include but are not limited to, cost control, master schedules, owner/client relationships, conflict resolution, team training, design and engineering coordination, etc.

What you need
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management (Preferred)
- Prior experience as a Project Manager
- Proficient computer skills – Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Knowledge of construction software – Bluebeam and Scheduling Software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization skills, with strong attention to detail
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines
- Willingness to travel 1x a week to the local job sites
- Advanced understanding of trades
- Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints
- Problem-solving abilities
- Ability to communicate and lead effectively
- Ambitious, active, and hardworking
Responsibilities
- Review and enforce contracts
- Walk sites to ensure the overall safety, schedule, and overall health of a project
- Create and maintain a Master Construction Schedule including milestones and other significant dates
- Lead a team consisting of the Project Engineer and Superintendent to manage a variety of commercial construction projects
- Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at the construction site
- Prepare and submit pay applications, progress, and cost-tracking reports
- Plan and conduct OAC Coordination Meetings as needed
- Guarantee standards are met for quality construction
- Provide expertise regarding construction means and methods
- Above all, maintain a safe construction site at all times
