What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Receptionist position at Healing with Heart Veterinary Care?
Healing with Heart Veterinary Care has an immediate need for a full-time Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. The receptionist is the first contact with the hospital and key to creating first and lasting impressions. We are a single veterinarian small animal practice that is patient focused and client responsive. Our core values are integrity, honesty, respect and personal responsibility. The ideal candidate would be a courteous, positive, customer service oriented person who can handle any situation professionally and with a smile on their face. A friendly attitude and the confidence to deal with stressful situations is paramount. Responsibilities include answering a multi-line telephone system, greeting clients and patients, using a veterinary software program (Avimark) to maintain patient accounts, collecting and processing payments, and helping to keep the hospital clean. One year of customer service experience required (medical or veterinary office experience a plus).
