Position Summary
The Healthcare Recruiter is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process to attract and hire top talent to represent HDM. This role involves working closely with the Sales Team, to understand our clients’ staffing needs, sourcing and engaging candidates through various channels, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process. The Recruiter plays a key role in ensuring a positive candidate experience, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, and supporting the overall talent acquisition strategy. This role reports to the Vice President of Client Services.
Essential Responsibilities
- Recruit and source Healthcare IT consultants for current and prospective client engagements that drive company revenue, margins, and growth.
- Use various methods to find potential candidates, including job boards, social media, networking events, and direct sourcing.
- Negotiate pay rates with consultants that are aligned with the client opportunity and provide HDM with appropriate margins.
- Engage in internal sales and recruiting team meetings and provide updates for the broader HDM team.
- Manage, update, and populate the recruiting portion of HDM’s customer relationship management and applicant tracking systems.
- Assist with marketing initiatives to help source, recruit, and attract top talent.
- Ensure timely updates and communication across multiple platforms including but not limited to Slack, Zoom, Outlook, Gusto, and applicant tracking software programs.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment and onboarding process to keep them informed and engaged.
- Ensure a positive and professional experience for all candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Uphold the values of HDM including respect, grit, agility, flexibility, clear communication, along with a positive attitude.
Continuous Growth and Improvement
- Ensure that only Best in KLAS level talent is presented by HDM to our clients!
- Work with client executives, sales, and operations teams to identify new growth opportunities and maintain a robust pipeline of needed talent for these opportunities.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the latest technology offerings, market conditions, and industry trends.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Home Office Setup: Ensuring you have a suitable and secure workspace equipped with a reliable internet connection and necessary office equipment.
- Transportation to make it into the downtown office Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Travel Required
- Minimal Travel, approximately 15% per calendar year
Education and Experience
- Required experience recruiting in the Healthcare IT / Consulting space specifically for EMR, ERP, and ITSM consulting services.
- Knowledge of recruitment processes and familiarity with end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
- Proficiency with recruitment tools, such as experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
- Knowledge of job boards, social media platforms, and networking tools.
- Strong skills in conducting interviews, assessing candidate fit, and evaluating qualifications.
- Experience dealing with challenges and changes in recruitment needs or market conditions.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and rapport with colleagues.
- Ability to think creatively to solve recruitment-related issues.
